OddAmerica

This project revolves around everything odd. Originally Skycypher and I founder this project on January 29th, 2007, called OddKitsap, which focused on the odd in Kitsap County, Washington, which is where we both reside. In June of 2007 we transitioned over to a national focus called OddAmerica.com.

Reflecting back over the past year, we’ve reported on numerous issues, helped in the research and definition of odd throughout out our home locations and nationwide. We want to express our sincere thanks to everyone who has visited and participated within the scope of this entire project, and supported of our efforts.

To date, we’ve recieved roughly 1 million hits combined between OddKitsap and OddAmerica. With over 3,000 hits daily we still push forward in our endeavors with making OddAmerica, a community driven atmosphere where reports of oddness can reside.

We look forward to another year in defining the oddness around the nation!

Thanks to you too, Jeff. ‘08 should be an interesting time to share information we can all wrap our heads around. Bloggers identify the issues that they are passionate about and Odd America tries to capture - what in our minds, is the interesting and the odd zeitgeist of our age.
