The “booms” and “flashes” may be a cover story by the authorities in order to attempt to contain the magnitude of this possible scenario as described in this article.

I believe that this quake was a genuine seismic product and not that of a supposed nuclear fuel explosion as suggested in this article. The seismic reports generated are valid given the fault system that it originated from, which was to the north of the New Madrid fault network.

Also there have been reported and confirmed aftershocks which are typical after a larger type magnitude quake has occurred..

Interesting read however… :)

Also, the quake was literally smack dab in the center between 3 cities (Albion, West Salem and Mount Carmel) which interestingly form a triangle!!!
