I disagree with much of the bailout bill, except for the fact that they included a renewable energy tax credit in it. I still don’t get why they sneak all these pieces into the bill, but at least something good came out of it. The bad part is that the tax credit should have been passed earlier in the summer, but Congress looked over it during the entire summer.

I am opposed to the bailout bill for many reasons. First and foremost is the pork embedded into it that serves absolutely no use to the overall platform. AIG gets bailed out and then sends their people to a high class resort that costs over 400 grand! They should be forced to pay that money back so it can be used appropriately.

I can only hope that some aspects of this plan will provide main street America with a sense of hope, given the current structure of our financial markets…
