Clocks Make Great Gifts
Clocks make great gifts! They are perfect for so many occasions. Think about the obvious types of gifts, like an anniversary or a birthday. Also think about retirement, going away, new home or office, and engagement presents. There's a clock for every budget, every price range and every type of taste or decor. From the traditional analog clock to the very modern digital there will be a style of clock available. Think about wall clocks and desk clocks. Over the fireplace, there are mantel clocks. For the traveler, think about the wonderful array of travel alarm clocks. It's the perfect item of all of the travel accessories. You'll find clocks available from well-known brands such as Seth Thomas, Bulova, Seiko, Howard Miller and Movado. Each brand has their distinctive look as well as different price points. Seth Thomas, Bulova and Howard Miller are known for the more traditional look, while Seiko and Movado are more modern looking. They all make wall or desk clocks. Some of them have musical chimes, some have light up features, and others are known for dual or world time. Newest of the features offered is the radio-controlled time. What is the best software program to monitor employee work time/attendance on site?
Does anyone know of a good software program where an employee can walk up to the front desk, clock in electronically on a computer we already have without the need for any cards or badges? And then do the same to clock out at the end of the day? Then an administrator would need to access the program on another networked computer at the end of the day to see a report on how many hours each employee worked? Anyone know a program like this or a place to look for one? Thanks!
I'm a computer programmer, but I have a better idea.
Give each of your employees their goals for the week, and then have them submit a status report at the end of the week. Don't be a Clock Nazi. They will hate you for it.
A good employee who is allowed to come in at 10 for a doctor's appointment and still leave at 5 will get as much work done as the other employees who came in at 8.
