Abrasive materials used in watch making
With the twelve piece assorted emery buff sticks, watch makers can refurbish metals and plastics; they can also use them for general purpose cleaning. The sticks have three different grains and under each grain type, there are four sticks. These are ideal to re-grain clasps, touch up scratches that appear on bracelets, feather plastic cases, polish crystals and clean up rusted components. In order to impart different finishes, different cleaning liquids can be used. The Screw Doctor screw head cutter is very useful in re-cutting slots in screw heads that are damaged. This head cutter can be used with all power drills. It is a precision made tool and is made out of hardened heat treated steel which makes it easy to cut out slots. This wheel’s cutting speed is directly proportional to the drill’s speed. This head cutter set has three layered and industrial standard diamond blades apart from one arbour with a washer and screw.
The Top Quality 150 piece Rotary Attachment kit has tools for polishing, drilling, grinding and cutting which are very useful in watch servicing. There are shaped grinding wheels, sanding drums and flap wheels, shaped cutters in diamond, carbide and HSS, cut off wheels, rubber emery, bristle brush wheels etc, felt and cloth wheels and HSS twist drill bits in this extensive set.
Abrasive Cleaner Garryflex coarse grain is good for polishing, removing rust and general cleaning. It is ideal for use on many types of materials. This is a silicone carbide filled rubber block that has excellent resilience; it is typically used for refurbishing of watch bracelets. It also finds use in removing scratches from flat and curved surfaces. This cleaner can be used dry or mixed with water, soap, petroleum etc to get the desired effect. There are very coarse, medium and fine grain varieties are available in this cleaner. The Bergeon 5444-A abrasive blocks are made of silicone carbide and synthetic rubber and can be used for polishing, cleaning and removing rust etc. in a dry form or mixed with water, soap, petroleum and others. These blocks are available in fine, medium and coarse varieties. The General Purpose metal polishing Kit has a sisal polishing mop, a colour stitch polishing mop, quality polishing mop, Tripmax Brown polishing compound, Bluemax Blue polishing compound, Abramax Grey polishing compound, Profin Pink polishing compound, a bag of Vienna Lime, a dust mask and standard Riggers gloves. The mops are used for first level or final level polishing while the various compounds work well on different metals. Vienna lime is used to remove polishing compound remains. The kit can be used on all types of metals like aluminium alloys, copper, brass and steel. Using this kit, a mirror like finish can be achieved easily.

Pool Maintenance Troubleshooting?
We haven't been able to use our above ground pool for 2 days due to weather. It was covered during that time. I didn't run the pump (call me stupid...). Anyway, I took the cover off today, planning to test the water and let the kids swim. The sides of the pool and the rafts had a slimy feel. The water is crystal clear, and there isn't anything floating in the water (except the random bug or leaf that blows in). Is this an algae problem or what? What can I do for it? I have shocked it and have run the pump pretty much all day. Should I let it go all night and then check it again in the morning? I have also wiped down the sides and bottom of the pool with my sponge mop? What else can I do?
Keep pump running scrub down with soft brush, check Ph.It sounds like algae precursors.
