Parker Pens
History
The Parker pen company was founded in 1889 when George Parker, the founder who was also a sales agent for the John Holland Gold Pen Company, got the first patent for manufacturing a fountain pen. The popularity of the company skyrocketed in 1894 with the introduction of the ‘Lucky Curve’ feed, a revolutionary technology that made life much easier for users. Before the development of the ball point pen in the 1960’s, Parker was a household name and was regularly among the top two pen companies in the world.
The ‘Lucky Curve’
The Lucky Curve was the new feed system patented by George Parker in the year 1894. It solved the problem of excess ink left in the feed when the pen was capped and put in the user’s pocket. The expansion of air within the pen when the pen was brought into use again could drive that ink out, making a blot on the paper and, inevitably, on the user’s hands as well. Parker’s enhancement was ingenious. He extended the feed farther into the barrel of the pen and curved the extension so that it touched the wall, providing a way for capillary action to drain the excess ink out of the feed.
The company today
The Parker pen company has come a long way from the Lucky Curve now. Today, it still is one of the most popular pen companies in the world and its range is not just restricted to fountain pens. The company also produces ball point pens, roller ball pens, mechanical pencils and calligraphy pens. Each Parker pen still comes with a lifetime warranty, which shows that the company has not given up on its tradition of quality.

Montblanc watch box for sale?
Hi, I currently own a montblanc timepiece. I don't have the original box for it, lost it somewhere. I have searched the internet for any used ones on sale, and came up with nothing. Have not tried the boutiques as i'm pretty sure they don't have extras. Anyone know where I can find a box? I found one on ebay but its from hong kong, not sure how safe that is to order.
Its a rare watch and the box will be hard to find, you may be able to order a replica online but it would be nearly impossible to find the original box.
